Monthly Professional Development Meeting:
Tackling Tough Conversations
We’ve all had to deal with difficult conversations at one time or another. Most of them have to do with sensitive subject matter, an embarrassing situation, or people who are uncomfortable with each other—or sometimes it’s a combination of all three.
Have you ever wished that you could do a better job of handling these conversations? The problem is, because we dread having them in the first place, we also are reluctant to prepare for them. That’s where business coach and consultant Kevin Brimhall comes in. He knows that because tough conversations are fairly common (whether in a professional or personal situation), the better you handle yourself and the situation, the more successful you will be.
Kevin will use real-life scenarios to explain how to handle those tough but necessary conversations. The audience will get a chance to think on their feet, role-play and reinforce what is learned by putting knowledge into action.
Unless you’re sure you’ll never need to have one of “those” conversations again, you won’t want to miss this event. And if you happen to be an expert in tough talks, here’s a great chance to lend the group the benefit of your experience.

Time: 12:00 noon for networking and lunch; program begins at 12:30 p.m.
