Upcoming Professional Development Program Meetings – Your Input
Needed

May 11 – Learn All About IABC Accreditation
Mark your calendar for May 11 for IABC Triangle’s professional development meeting on how to achieve IABC accreditation. Several IABC Triangle members will serve on a panel discussion to share their experience and insights on this great career-enhancing program. The meeting will be held at 12 noon. Full details will be posted on the IABC Triangle Web site on April 16, 2010.

June 8 – Tackling Tough Conversations
At our June professional development meeting, we’ll explore the topic of how to successfully deal with difficult conversations. Business coach and consultant Kevin Brimhall will use real-life examples and scenarios to teach IABC members how to better tackle tough conversations. If you have an example of a difficult communications-related scenario that you would like to have coaching on, please submit it to Abbie Kiefer at abbie@abbiekiefer.com so it can be incorporated into our June meeting.

Twitter

If you are a member of our IABC Triangle LinkedIn Group, you probably saw the recent discussion about the members list we've added to our Twitter account. It can be found at twitter.com/IABCNCTriangle/members. We think this will be a fun way to check in and see what each of us is up to -- professionally or personally -- depending on how you use Twitter.

This week, we're announcing another Twitter list -- one for companies in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. Take a look at it to see how local companies are using Twitter as part of their communication strategies. (Note for job seekers: This could be a great resource for you!) See http://twitter.com/IABCNCTriangle/triangle-companies.
