Call for Volunteers — Marketing & Membership Committees

Volunteering on an IABC Triangle committee is a great way to develop skills beyond your current job duties. Volunteers are needed for both the marketing & membership committees. Volunteering need not require a lot of your time. If interested, contact Mary Hecht-Kissell at maryhk@pr-strategies.com for the marketing committee or Shannon Helm at shannonh@nc.rr.com for the membership committee.

Thank You to PRSSA Panel Participants

On February 24, 2010, four IABC Triangle members participated in a panel discussion at North Carolina State University for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). The team provided the students with a perspective on the differences between working in marketing for an agency or in a corporate setting.

A special thank you for volunteering their time and insights goes to:
David MacDonald — Martin Marietta
Lisa Ward — Capstrat
Jane Albright — North Carolina State University
Laurie Bowser-Sever — Interprose Public Relations.
