IABC Triangle Monthly Professional Development Meeting
Fear of the Unknown — Managing Employee Concerns & Maintaining Morale During Times of Uncertainty and Change

Join IABC Triangle and Stef Mendell, Director of Communications for GlaxoSmithKline’s Global Manufacturing & Supply department, for an educational talk on managing employee communications to keep employees engaged during challenging times. Employees are feeling great stress from the global economy, concerns about a shrinking job market, devaluation of retirement assets and rising prices. As a result, employees are feeling less engaged on the job. Numerous studies have shown that engaged employees can make a significant difference to a company’s bottom line. Join this informative discussion to learn how communications plays a critical role in employees’ understanding of corporate challenges and in shaping their response.
