IABC March Program
Big Picture Networking — 70 Years Later
What do flying monkeys, a witch obsessed with a pair of slippers, and a road made of yellow bricks have to do with career transition? In this motivational and engaging seminar, Dan Galloway will show the correlations between Dorothy's journey to Oz and a job search in the year 2009. Join Dan for an evening of adventure, drama, suspense, and most importantly, networking.

Time: 6 p.m. for networking and dinner; program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

March is Worldwide Membership Month
March 2009 is Worldwide Membership Month! During March, when any new or lapsed member joins or re-joins IABC, we'll waive the application fee ($40 for faxed/mailed/phoned enrollments; $30 for Internet enrollments). Applications must be received at the San Francisco Headquarters office during the month of March to qualify. (Note: This promotion does not affect active renewing members or students.)

Join IABC/Charlotte Workshop
8th Annual Profitable Communications for Non-profits
Professionals from both non-profit and for-profit organizations will glean new insights on a broad range of communications topics at this half-day workshop.

This IABC/Charlotte signature event offers valuable professional development, while building a local network of support between area non-profit and for-profit communicators.

Date: Thursday, March 12, 2009, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Mint Museum of Art, 2730 Randolph Rd., Charlotte, NC 28207
Cost: For participants from non-profits, the workshop is free. There is a modest fee for participants from for-profit organizations.
