Jamie Nunnelly:
President, Wilder Ridge Communciations

Jamie N. Nunnelly has been in the public relations field for 20 years. Before starting Wilder Ridge Communications, she was publisher of The Park Guide, a quarterly magazine about innovation, technology and enlightened living in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. She previously worked as communications director for Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina, the owner and developer of Research Triangle Park. Additionally Jamie has held communication positions with General Motors, Tropicana Products Inc., Advantis and the Research Triangle Regional Partnership.

She earned a bachelor's degree in interpersonal and public communications at Bowling Green State University and a master's degree in mass communications, with a specialization in public relations, at the University of South Florida.

A member of IABC since 1988, Jamie joined the 500-club in recent years, becoming a lifetime member of the organization. She has served in various volunteer and leadership capacities in both the IABC NC Triangle and IABC Suncoast (Tampa, Fla.) chapters.

Jamie serves on the board of directors of The Chatham County Economic Development Commission and the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, and she serves on the Commercial Corridor Task Force for Chatham County.

She previously served on the boards of the International Affairs Council, The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh. She is a member of the North Carolina Economic Developers Association, NCFREE, and is a former member of the North Carolina Business Committee on Education, Association of University Research Parks, the Triangle United Way's marketing committee, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce's communications committee, the Durham CVB's PIO Council, SmartCommute@RTP and the Environment@RTP committees.

Jamie has lived in the Triangle area since 1994. She and her husband, Scott, reside in Chatham County with their miniature dachshund, Woodstock.
